west coast We love working with couples who really connect with our philosphy and edgy flare to wedding photography. As a photographer, my experience includes photographic studies influenced in the romantic yet progressive culture of San Diego, CA. Since moving to Minnesota, we have found a true joy in weddings but also contract for event photojournalism and private parties upon request. Our specialty is unearthing authentic emotion.
NEWS! The big news on our front is that we just found out we were nominated as a Top 3 finalist for the Minnesota Bride Best of 2007 Award given out for unique Wedding Photography! Look for us in this summer's issue of MN Bride. We are humbled and honored.
We have had many requests to get a peek at the new season work including destination weddings to Mt. Hood, Oregon and our recent wedding shoot along the Rhine River in Germany. Coming soon!....

At Vick Photography, we specialize in Romantic Photojournalism, highlighting The Day of the Bride and Groom while cementing candid expressions, emotions, and perspectives that are triggered throughout Your Day. We enjoy working with creative wedding couples that don't always have to know where and when the camera is firing, freeing them up to fully engage with their surrounding loved ones. I have personally witnessed too many long, overproduced photo shoots rip the moment and emotion out by the heartstrings and resulting in cookie-cutter images. Here, we dare to paint our images with light and bring them to life.
