.MN Bride Awards 2011. 07.19.2011
NewsWhat a party! What a honor! We were honored to be chosen as a finalist by YOU our fabulous friends for this year's Best Of Awards in two categories: Best Photography & Top of the Tiarra. This award is saved for the Best Overall wedding vendor and we were completely floored to be included this year. Although we didn't win, just being in conversation with some of these elite wedding professionals is truly humbling.
The night started with hair and make-up at Jenna's condo with the fabulous Marcie. After a fun team photo-shoot in a nearby dance studio, we headed over to the McNamara for the festivities. The party pour from room to room with great energy from all our fun friends in the wedding industry. For our family here at the Living Room Studios, we had many reasons to celebrate. John Hoel of Vibrant Film from our studio was up for his first nomination and Rick Gmitro of Flow was asked to the DJ for the event. To couple that with our two nominations, we were in for a great night! Each category was called out and the finalists read, with a big uproar of applause for the winner. Our friends at Capture Studios took the top spot for videography, Catherine at the Semple Mansion for top venue, and many other friends were honored throughout the night. Photographer Spencer Comb's ever-present grin never gets old and was again a welcome sight. Our evening festivities moved to Merina's rooftop for relaxing, fabulous food, and a game of pool. What a perfect night with some of the best and most talented people in my life!

NewsIt's always an honor to be featured in Minnesota Bride Magazine. This one is extra special, as it reflects my heart and why I love my job. I got emotional just reading and reliving one of the most incredible days I have had as a photographer. Marcie and James will always have a special place in my life because of this day.

NewsWe here at Vick Photography just learned the exciting news and had to share with you. Thanks to you, our friends along with the readers of Minnesota Bride Magazine have chosen us as a finalist for the Best Photography 2011 award. Also for the first time ever we have been selected as a top three finalist for Best Overall wedding service! The winner will be announced in July at an industry awards banquet; we will keep you posted.

Last year we were humbled and honored to be voted by you and the readers of Minnesota Bride as the Best Photographer for 2009.
