Allison and Adam

Wedding Date: January 13th, 2024

The new year is here and there’s no better place to start than at The Hutton House. It feels like home every time I visit and this day felt extra warm and cozy. This was likely due to the amazing people that surrounded me all day. I was joined by the incredible Beth of Kismet, who is a long time friend and a talented planner. The Hutton House team always makes everyone feel welcome and brings out the best in people, so there were happy faces and excitement around every corner. When I walked into the bridal suite, Allison was wearing a big smile and I instantly felt the love in the room. I think all of their parents were as excited for this wedding as they were and you could feel it from the moment you stepped foot into the venue. There was a buzz in the air and we were excited for their day to begin!

Adam looked suave in his black tie and smiled big as we walked out to their empty ceremony space for their first look. You could see the excitement on his face knowing he would see his Allison in only a few moments. She carefully walked down the staircase which was lavishly decorated in ivy and warmly lit from above. The pair paused for a moment to smile and catch their breath because Allison put her hand on Adam’s back indicating that he could turn around. Their smiles widened as they hugged and laughed together. We joined their friends and family for a quick round of group photos before returning to the back rooms before the ceremony began.

As guests started flowing into the space, they stopped in awe of the gorgeous decor. This is one of the most beautiful mantle pieces I have ever seen and the only thing better than how it looked, was how it smelled. The moment you stepped in to take your seat, the smell of fresh roses filled the air. After everyone had taken their seats, Allison once again walked down the stairs toward Adam, but this time all of their loved ones turned to watch her walk down the aisle. Their ceremony was sweet and personal with quite a few moments of laughter throughout. The room filled with a golden light as the fire crackled behind them and the candles flickered all around as they were pronounced husband and wife. With a cheering audience, they happily made their way down the aisle and outside to celebrate.

Fresh snow covered the ground as a light dusting fell around us. Allison put on a shawl to stay warm as they danced under the low hanging lights and snowflakes lazily fell around them. Back inside, the room was warm and inviting. More gorgeous flower arrangements decorated the tables and the candles were lit with care. After a few sweet toasts, they took to the dance floor with an incredible band playing their song. They twirled across the floor and were soon joined by their parents. Adam set his jacket aside while Allison made a quick change into her party dress that was made for dancing. The band played hit after hit and I even ran back into the room a few times to see which song they were playing because I didn’t want to miss a single one. Champagne flowed and the dance floor filled with happy partygoers showing off their moves. Before the night came to a close, we set up a sparkler send off but whoever was brave enough to withstand the cold temperatures. With sparklers held high, the crowd cheered on the happy newlyweds.
